Cerro San Luis
This is a common hike for Cal Poly students and the San Luis Obispo community. Though it is more commonly known as Madonna, the actual name is Cerro San Luis.
Cerro San Luis a shorter and less difficult hike compared to Bishop’s Peak, and more welcoming to runners. The view from the top will be well worth the run up the hill. On clear days you can see the ocean as well as San Luis Obispo.
The best part is that once you are at the top, its all downhill from there.
